Work is officially underway at Great Charles Street, Birmingham.
With construction partner John Sisk & Son Ltd Moda celebrated the groundbreaking of the new 722-home #BTR neighbourhood, kickstarting the transformation of a key city-centre site in the historic Jewellery Quarter, which has lain undeveloped for over 70 years.
Moda was joined by key stakeholders and partners, including Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street and Birmingham City Council Leader Ian Ward, to celebrate this important milestone. To mark the occasion, local historian and bestselling author Prof. Carl Chin presented Moda MD Tony Brooks with a commemorative metal plaque, engraved in the Jewellery Quarter by local business S&D.
Thank you to everyone who came out in the rain to celebrate a historic day for Moda Living, for Sisk, and for Birmingham. We can't wait to see this beautiful new neighbourhood come to life and to welcome residents and the wider Birmingham community to this new community hub in the Jewellery Quarter.
